I truly do love KC. It has formed me into the person I am
today. There has been so many different places I have spent my time that have
shaped the memories I will hold for the rest of my life. The first place is my
Grandma’s house. Learning all of the history behind my mom’s family moving from
Vietnam to a tiny two bedrooms, one bath house with 12 kids started the bond
within my family. Having all of our family get together for Christmas and other
holiday’s there in the small house in KC out of all the places we could’ve been
will be something I will never forget.
There are also all my friend’s houses that I have spent
countless hours at. It isn’t necessarily the places that we have been that I
love, but the memories that I get from those places are what I love. Like going
to Matilda’s, Brady’s or Courtney’s basement to watch a movie or just to hang
out. These places are where I will remember majority of my memories from high school.
Although I am going to Arkansas next year, my heart will
always be here in KC. This is where I started and this will always be my home.
I am comfortable here and feel like this is will always be a comfort zone for
me. Who knows what my future holds. I know that this is a safe place and I look
forward to look back to think about all the places I have been around in KC.
